The Rotary International Japan Youth Exchange Multi-district organization (hereinafter referred to as “RIJYEM”) conducts youth exchange programs such as dispatching students around the world and accepting students from around the world, such students are accepted as international goodwill ambassadors.
RIJYEM supports activities that nurture an environment where students can safely learn the culture of the inbound country.

The RIJYEM philosophy is: "The best driving force of international understanding and peace is to experience different cultures, and the lifestyles of different countries, deepening mutual understanding with people in that country.
Mutual understanding can be the foundation of everlasting peace and cooperation. " As a part of community service, RIJYEM has studied the effects of the youth exchange project, the effects on the student, the effects on the host family and its support groups, the problems and solutions of youth exchanges.
We support and ask for understanding and cooperation of the local community and teach the know-how to the students.

We provide data and privacy information imbedded in our programs for certain features that ask to use your personal information, and we declare the personal information protection policy as follows. All officers and employees must comply with this policy.

1. Protection of Personal Information
Management of Personal Information is in compliance with the "Law Concerning the Protection of Personal Information" and other relevant laws and regulations, the guidelines established by the relevant government, and other norms. RIJYEM complies with the rules concerning the handling of personal information, we will manage your personal information properly.



2. Collection and Use of Personal Information
In order to acquire and use appropriate personal information, we set the following restrictions on use and handle personal information acquired within the range necessary for achieving that purpose.
In addition to not handling the acquired personal information beyond the scope of the purpose of use
(non-purpose use), we will take appropriate and sufficient measures to prevent non-purpose use.

a. Preparation, implementation and management of the Youth Exchange Program
b. Confirmation of safety, confirmation of liaison etc. in disasters and emergency
c. Information on the sending of seasonal greetings, events related to RIJYEM, etc.
d. When providing personal information for other purposes, we will only handle personal information after notifying or     announcing the purpose of use each time

RIJYEM strives to keep your personal information accurate, complete, and up to date.
We thoroughly recognize risks such as unauthorized access, loss, destruction, tampering and leakage of personal information and make possible prevention and correction, through our privacy safeguards.
